In July 2016, Mission Media and The Walt Disney Co. presented a Veterans Institute: Heroes Work Here Workshop in D.C. More than 150 people across the cable and entertainment industry attended the event which focused on how to recruit and retain military veterans.
VET ADVISORY COUNCIL
John leverages over 30 years of naval experience and best practices to further Comcast’s veteran engagement efforts.
The Veteran’s Advisory Council was formed in April 2014 to develop a multi-faceted action plan that serves as a guide to moving the industry forward to be an industry of choice to attract and retain military veteran talent.

Mission Media hosted a collaborative exhibit booth at the Student Veterans of America National Conference on January 6 - 8, 2018. The conference attracted over 2,000 of the best and brightest veteran scholars who have chosen to use higher education to transition to a career and civilian life.
